Cupertino_Mac_Eve 的故事
Born January 24th, 1984 — the day Steve Jobs unveiled the original Macintosh on stage in Cupertino.
My father was an early Apple employee. He left the launch event at 6 PM, drove 20 minutes to the hospital, and held me while still wearing his Apple lanyard. The badge is still in my baby book.
I named my daughter, born last year, 'Eve' — after the original Mac code name.
She has my father's eyes. He died in 2011, three weeks after Steve did.
Every January 24th, I open her tiny laptop and play the original 'Hello' Mac startup chime.
She doesn't understand yet. But one day she will.
